Google announced USD 6.5 million to help fight coronavirus fake news: With COVID-19 breeding all over and the news spreading like wildfire, Google announced prize money to end this. To put a full stop to all this, Google said it will provide USD 6.5 million (around Rs 49 crore) in funding to fact-checkers and non-profits fighting misinformation around the world, including India, with focus on the coronavirus pandemic that has claimed thousands of lives.
