Olivier Tremouille, Managing Director, Socomec UPS, India  Just a decade less to mark centenary, Socomec founded in 1922 by Joseph Siat saw its evolution  from being a manufacturer of switches, fuse links, fuses, bells, rotisseries and sheet metal or lacquered cardboard bridging boxes. After the death of Joseph Siat, his two sons Pierre and Maurice took over the company and the company started to manufacture more specific equipment: changeover switches, transformers, rheostat-regulators and high breaking capacity fuse links.
