Apple accepts Modi’s invite to set up Manufacturing in India



Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his Silicon Valley visit, has invited Apple CEO to take part in his “Make-in-India” project by setting up its manufacturing unit in the country. As per the sources, Apple CEO Tim Cook has responded positively.
Apple’s largest handset manufacturer, Foxconn has also decided to set up a manufacturing base in India.
Cook has expressed his great desire to be a partner in the Prime Minister’s Digital India initiative, which, he thought, was a transformative initiative and could be a real game-changer in India....See More
