Micromax reinforces its commitment to Make in India

In line with the Government of India’s “ Make in India ” programme, Micromax has inaugurated its newest manufacturing facility in Telangana. It was inaugurated by Sri K. T. Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for IT and Sri P. Mahendra Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport , in the presence of other senior State dignitaries. The Telangana manufacturing facility has been made operational from scratch in flat six months and will have the capacity to manufacture one million mobile phone devices per month. The facility currently employs 700 people and will increase the number to 1,000 employees in the next two months, boosting employment opportunities in the State. Sri K. T. DSCI partners with Google to launch ‘Internet Safety Program’

Data Security Council of India (DSCI) , in partnership with Google , has launched “ Internet Safety Program “. The Workshops aim at enhancing trust in the cyberspace by empowering MSMEs with knowledge and understanding to deal with cyber security challenges to stay safe and secure while operating online. Under the program, DSCI and Google will organize a series of workshops in various cities, to help inculcate safe and responsible behaviour in cyber space by sharing best practices and guidance with the audience, equipping them with necessary guidance, instructions and techniques to address cyber security challenges, and spreading awareness on legal and regulatory obligations. Panasonic ELUGA Arc launched at Rs. 12,490 in India

Panasonic India has launched the Eluga Arc phone today at a price of Rs.12,490. With its latest 2.5D curved HD IPS, the device also features additional security with a fingerpoint sensor. In terms of specifications, the Panasonic Eluga Arc comes with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity option. Google launches health cards with Apollo Hospitals

Google has launched health cards in India today in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals . Now, information on over 400 health conditions can be searched quickly and easily in Hindi as well as English languages. In the long run, Google plans to launch it in Indic languages too. These Health Cards have been integrated into the Google Knowledge graph which powers the search experience in India. The heath cards will be available on Google search on android, iOS phones and tablets, mobiles and desktop browsers.
